Q: Who is eligible to participate in the Qwest Refer a Friend Program?
A: Qwest customers and retirees are eligible to participate in this program. Current Qwest employees and extended family of Refer a Friend Program Headquarters or provisioning centers are not eligible to participate.

A: You can enroll online at www.qwestreferafriend.com/consumer or by calling 1 866YOUCAN1 (1 866-968-2261). You must agree to program terms and conditions to participate.
Q: How do I make a referral through the Qwest Refer a Friend Program?
A: Once you have enrolled, submit referrals online at qwestreferafriend.com or call 1 866YOUCAN1 (1 866-968-2261) and speak to a Qwest representative. If you have the party you are referring with you, you can submit their information and have the Qwest representative talk to the potential customer right away. Your customer can also place their order on qwest.com/referral and enter your User ID as their reference code.

A: Referral calls are answered by Qwest employees in the Refer a Friend Program Headquarters or sales centers.
Q: How long are my referrals valid?
A: Referrals are valid for 30 days. If the customer purchases Qwest products or services within 30 days through the Refer a Friend provisioning center or by using qwest.com/referral, the program participant who made the referral will receive reward value on the American Express®-branded reward card for the products and services purchased.

A: The American Express®-branded reward card will be sent to you once you have a qualified sold referral. You can start making referrals through this program at any time after you enroll.

A: The American Express®-branded reward card is not a credit card, nor is it an extension of credit from Qwest. It is issued by American Express Incentive Services, L.L.C. By using the card, you acknowledge that you agree to the cardholder agreement and program terms and conditions.

A: Value is added to the card monthly (approximately mid-month). Once this occurs, you can use the value virtually anywhere American Express® Cards are welcome in the U.S.

A: At the end of the year, you will be mailed a 1099-MISC form for earning amounts valued at over $600.

A: Visit RewardBalance.com and enter the card number or call the number on the back of the card to use the automated system.
Q: How do I report a lost or stolen card?
A: When you receive the card, you must record the customer service number on the back of the card and the card number itself and keep them in a safe place. Should the Card become lost or stolen, you must contact Customer Service immediately. The Customer Service number is listed on the back of the Card. You will need the Card number when requesting a replacement Card.

A: You must spend the balance of the card prior to the expiration date.
